Sports Performance Programs

Ullucci Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy, Inc. strength and conditioning program is dedicated to meeting your individual goals for an affordable price. To this end we have developed a pricing structure that will allow you to customize your strength and condition experience. Our individual program offers you the flexibility of setting your own goals and training schedule to fit the ever increasing demands of your busy schedule, while our sports performance program is designed specifically to maximize strength gains as well as sports specific skills.

Example of a typical Sports Performance Training Session - approximately 1 hour in length.

  • Warm up - utilizing the benefits of both a general and specific dynamic warm up to increase blood flow, increase core & muscle temperature, joint mobility and muscle flexibility
  • Agility and Plyometric Training - Performed following a complete warm up to help develop and improve agility, speed, acceleration, ability to change direction, footwork, and explosive power
  • Explosive Training - Utilizing Olympic Style Weightlifting techniques and the variation of the Olympic Lifts to improve explosive power.  By utilizing this technique the ability to generate power will increase and this will improve the athletes overall ability to accelerate faster, jump higher, and change direction explosively
  • Accessory Strength Training - Utilizing resistance training methods to both improve basic strength to enable the explosive, agility and plyometric training to improve and to improve either muscle size, endurance and strength
  • Sport Specific Training - Our professionals will designate exercises which will allow for the most improvement for the sport or sports being trained for
  • Flexibility training - flexibility improvements come from a two tier method of traditional static stretching for muscles and joint mobility training.
  • Rest and recovery Training - Most athletes and coaches focus on how much time is going to be spent training and how training time is going to be utilized.  Training for athletes may take up 3-5 hours a day on average but what they do over the course of the time not training can dictate how they will respond to the training and rest and recovery training is vital for injury prevention.  Well will educate and perform methods of recovery to aid in regeneration and recovery from training to improve the overall training effect and reduce the risk of training related injury.
