Lori graduated from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine in 1998. She played four years of varsity basketball while earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in physical therapy. She gained valuable experience through clinical affiliations at Healthsouth Sports Medicine in Florida and Novacare Orthopedics in Texas, as well as Exeter Healthcare in New Hampshire.
Her first job was at Orthopedic Associates in Cranston, RI. She then moved to West Bay Orthopedics in Warwick, RI in search of fresh challenges. While there, she earned her Personal Training certificate in 2002. Her passion being to work in a sports medicine clinic, she began at Ullucci Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy in March of 2004.
Over the past seven years, she has attended numerous continuing education courses, which have sharpened her clinical skills. Some of these courses have included education in specific therapeutic techniques from McKenzie and Mulligan. She has also attended courses from Gary Gray another renowned name in the field. Other courses she has attended include Prenatal and Perinatal therapeutic exercise instruction, massage techniques to treat headaches, the rehabilitation of the shoulder complex, functional orthopedics 1, and neurovascular compression of the upper extremity.
